Aptura AI Terms and Conditions
At Aptura AI, we are committed to protecting the privacy and security of our users' personal information. This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, and share data provided by individuals ("Workers"), contractors ("Contractors"), and employers ("Employers") who use our platform to connect, collaborate, or perform services. By using the Aptura AI platform and agreeing to our Terms of Service, you acknowledge and consent to the data practices described in this Privacy Policy.
Definitions
Workers: Individuals using the Aptura AI platform to seek employment, share their profiles, and conduct interviews.
Contractors: Individuals or entities engaged directly by Aptura AI to perform services, such as data annotation, content moderation, or other internal projects.
Employers: Organizations using the Aptura AI platform to find and evaluate potential candidates.
Eligibility Criteria
To use the Aptura AI platform, users must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into contracts under applicable law.
Participant Responsibilities and Conduct
Users, including Workers and Contractors, are expected to:
- Provide accurate and truthful information when using the Aptura AI platform.
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Act professionally and diligently when participating in tasks, interviews, or other projects.
- Avoid engaging in any fraudulent or deceptive practices.
Data Collection, Usage, and Sharing
1. Data Collection
Aptura AI collects various types of data from Workers, Contractors, and Employers, including but not limited to:
- Interview recordings and transcriptions.
- Resumes, cover letters, portfolios, and other application materials.
- Images from interviews, which may be used to generate high-quality, professional photos for display to potential employers.
- Metadata such as IP addresses, browser type, device identifiers, access times, and pages visited to enhance security and improve user experience.
- Salary expectations and other information shared through the platform.
- Information from external websites where Workers maintain profiles, which Aptura AI may surface to enhance hiring outcomes.
- Annotated data, content moderation inputs, or other deliverables produced by Contractors.
2. Data Usage
Data collected from Workers and Contractors may be used for the following purposes:
- Interview recordings and transcriptions.
- Resumes, cover letters, portfolios, and other application materials.
- Images from interviews, which may be used to generate high-quality, professional photos for display to potential employers.
- Metadata such as IP addresses, browser type, device identifiers, access times, and pages visited to enhance security and improve user experience.
- Salary expectations and other information shared through the platform.
- Information from external websites where Workers maintain profiles, which Aptura AI may surface to enhance hiring outcomes.
- Annotated data, content moderation inputs, or other deliverables produced by Contractors.
3. Data Sharing
Aptura AI may share user data with:
- Third-party large language model providers for talent evaluation purposes.
- Companies hiring through Aptura AI who have legitimate interest in the Worker's data for recruitment purposes.
- External APIs for generating professional-quality images from interview visuals.
- Service providers who assist in operating the platform and delivering services to users.
- Contractors working on internal Aptura AI projects where relevant data access is necessary.
4. Confidentiality and Ownership
- Contractors acknowledge that any data or deliverables produced for Aptura AI, including annotations or other outputs, are the sole property of Aptura AI unless otherwise agreed upon in a written contract.
- Contractors must maintain the confidentiality of all proprietary or sensitive information accessed during their work with Aptura AI.
- Unauthorized use or distribution of Aptura AI's data or proprietary materials is strictly prohibited.
5. Payment Terms
- Compensation for Workers and Contractors will be provided as outlined in their respective agreements with Aptura AI.
- Payments will be made upon successful completion and verification of tasks, projects, or other deliverables.
- Aptura AI reserves the right to withhold payments if there is evidence of misconduct, fraud, or failure to adhere to agreed-upon standards.
6. Dispute Resolution
- If a Worker or Contractor has concerns or disputes regarding the services, tasks, or compensation, they should contact Aptura AI support through the designated channels.
- Aptura AI will attempt to resolve disputes amicably through negotiation. If unresolved, further measures, such as arbitration or legal action, may be pursued.
7. Termination
Aptura AI reserves the right to terminate or suspend any user's account if they are found to violate these terms or engage in fraudulent, unethical, or illegal behavior.
8. Intellectual Property and Metadata Collection
- By using the Aptura AI platform, Workers and Contractors acknowledge that Aptura AI may collect metadata, including but not limited to IP addresses, device identifiers, and access logs, for security, analytical, and operational purposes.
- Such metadata may be used to monitor usage patterns, detect suspicious activity, and improve platform services.
9. Consent and Acknowledgment
- By using the Aptura AI platform and agreeing to these terms of service, the Worker or Contractor acknowledges that their data will be collected, used, and shared as described in these terms.
- Aptura AI reserves the right to update or modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
